This is probably \nthe most important thing I’ve learned about working with artists\n in my career so far. If you work with an artist you have a responsibility to have the hard conversations with them. Push them to develop personally, encourage them to learn and grow. Sometimes a “no” is exactly what they need hear to grow personally and professionally. Being surround by “yes” people can be a poison for an artist, be the team member that helps them stay grounded and not lose themselves.
