Please read the below retainer agreement carefully. If you agree to the terms, make the payment requested on this invoice.  Payment of this invoice constitutes consent to the terms offered in this agreement.

AUTHORITY TO  PROVIDE REPRESENTATION

We (U.S. Citizen & parent) as client (s), hereby retain, authorize, and employ Pradeek Susheelan, Esq as legal counsel in the following matters:  

1. File I-130 Petition by me (U.S. Citizen) on behalf of my parent

 2. File I-485, 1-131, I-765 Applications on my (parent's) behalf 

As compensation for the services rendered, we agree to pay Attorney Fees in the total amount of $3000 payable as follows:

$1500 initial retainer (attorney is only required to work on the case once this has been paid);

$1500 when the application has been prepared and before it is filed with USCIS.

The clients understand and agree to comply with the terms and conditions of this agreement as follows:

1.    Unless the terms and conditions of the above fees are complied with, Pradeek Susheelan, Esq is not retained in any manner whatsoever, and is not obligated to file any applications/petitions, or work on the client’s behalf.

2.    The fee agreement in this retainer does not include appeals or consular visa processing. If further appeals or litigation becomes necessary in this case, a new retainer would have to be re-negotiated at such time.

3.  Options for an additional charge: 45-minute zoom interview prep $35O. Representation at USCIS interview  $1000 (If the interview is outside the metro area of NY/NJ, SF, LA  additional travel expenses will apply)., Neither of these is required, and there is a good chance USCIS will waive the interview. 

4.  If the client provides all requested documents before filing there will be no additional fee to respond to any request for evidence issued by USCIS. if USCIS issues a Request for additional evidence because the client failed to provide a requested document before filing there will be a minimum attorney fee of $1000 to respond to any RFE.

5.    The Client agrees to provide checks written out to the ‘U.S Department of Homeland Security’ Zelle to pradeek@compleximmigration.com filing fees at the time of filing the petition.  This fee/agreement does NOT cover extraordinary expenses including but not limited to medical examinations, translations, etc. The client agrees to pay estimated ordinary expenses including but not limited to copying, data  & FedEx charges. Expenses will be estimated at $125 per package unless the package is unusually large.  

6. Joint representation of both of you will obligate us to disclose to each of you all material information relating to the representation without regard to whether such information constitutes client confidence or secret. If we obtain information from one of you that the disclosing party would prefer to keep confidential, we would nevertheless have to provide the information to the other party if it was in our opinion material to our representation in this matter. 

The above terms that have been offered by the Attorney to the Client will be considered to have been ACCEPTED AND AGREED TO, once the client pays this invoice.

within 5 working days of the client sending a message to indicate all documents have been provided,
and that client cannot provide any more docs from the checklist provided to the client. If when
attorney reviews the first draft approved by client, attorney discovers critical documentation is
missing the attorney will notify the client of the same and provide client an opportunity to provide
the required missing documentation. The law firm will file the case within 3 working days of the
client providing any such missing documentation. If the law firm is unable to keep the timelines mentioned here, the law firm will refund $1750 to the client that reflect the additional retainer paid by the client to prepare the case within the afore mentioned timeline.
